She may only have been performing stand-up for five years, but Yuriko Kotani has wasted no time in making a name for herself. Growing up in Japan but now based in the UK, Yuriko is able to mine her unique cultural perspective to inform her very personal brand of comedy. Since scooping the BBC New Comedy Award in 2015, the award-winning comic has garnered numerous TV and radio credits including Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), Pls Like (BBC Three) and The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), and has supported Joe Lycett and Rob Delaney on tour. She will be here at Larmer Tree previewing a brand new show which she is taking up to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
