Winning a deserved Best Newcomer nomination in the 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Awards, as well as scooping Herald Angel Award and Pleasance Theatre Award for her debut hour-long show, Dark Horse, Nottingham-born Sarah Keyworth is a rising star attracting widespread excitement both in and beyond the comedy world. Her material explores themes of sexuality and gender fluidity, and what it means to conform, or not, to societal expectations. Performing on BBC TV and radio as well as Comedy Central, Sarah has already supported fellow comics on tour including Dane Baptiste, Kerry Godliman, Nish Kumar and Abandoman. She brings a preview of her brand new hour-long show to us at Larmer Tree, ahead of an Edinburgh Fringe run this summer.
“Powerful, poignant and achingly funny stuff.” Herald Scotland
