The best stand-ups and sketch acts from the international circuit are doing their thing… but without the rude bits! Comedy Club 4 Kids run shows and workshops all over the UK from Peebles to Portsmouth, and have even produced a book on how to write and perform stand-up. Loved by kids and adults alike, it’s as funny as you’d expect it’s just on in the day, kids are allowed in, and thus there is a higher than usual chance of the entire audience claiming to be called Bob.
Your hilarious Larmer Tree line-up are
Alice Fraser – an award-winning writer, broadcaster, performer and comedian. She’s also an ex-academic, ex-corporate Lawyer and (sort of) banjo player. When not appearing on The Bugle or her own Tea With Alice podcast, she does reliably silly, unpredictably meaningful, narratively unorthodox, gut-punch comedy.
Duncan Oakley – has musical skills that would easily fit into many rock bands and performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up that has seen him become one of the leading headliners in the business.
Howard Read – is very tall and very silly, often to be found in a double-act with a cartoon boy, whose exploits can be seen on CBBC’s Little Howard’s Big Question. He is also an author, award-winning animator, and comic who really really loves singing about monkeys.
“Absolutely hilarious.” – The Yorkshire Times
