Arriving on the UK and Irish comedy landscape in 2015, actor and comic Catherine Bohart’s ascent has been impressively rapid. She was a finalist in both the BBC New Comedy Awards and Funny Women in 2016, named on the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist 2017 and was also runner-up in the Irish Comedian of the Year Final 2017, being selected for the prestigious Pleasance Reserve in the same year. In 2018 she made her full-length Edinburgh Fringe debut with Immaculate, a critically acclaimed autobiographical hour exploring her life as the bisexual, OCD daughter of an Irish Catholic Deacon. She has performed on The Mash Report (BBC Two), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2) and made a memorable appearance on Roast Battle (Comedy Central), against her real-life partner, Sarah Keyworth (also performing at Larmer Tree).
