AHIR SHAH

Ahir Shah

Since his last Larmer Tree appearance a decade ago, Ahir Shah’s rise, both within the UK comedy landscape and beyond, has been brilliant to watch. At once intellectual, political and confessional, his effortless blend of eloquence, honesty and humour has been honed, over eight solo hour shows, into the consummate comedic voice he is today. Nominated for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2017 for Control and again for 2018’s Duffer, Ahir’s 2019 show Dots received further critical acclaim and has since been performed to audiences all over the country. He has multiple writing, acting, TV and radio credits, including Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, (BBC Two), Live at The Apollo (BBC One) and Catastrophe (Channel 4) and is a regular contributor to The Mash Report (BBC Two).
