“We’re thrilled to have Tom Odell back at Larmer Tree on our 2016 line-up. He’s gone on to phenomenal success since he was last here, and I know his Sunday night set is going to be something special.” James Shepard, Festival Director
Tom Odell is returning to Larmer Tree Festival after a stunning debut performance in 2014. With hit tracks from his platinum album Long Way Down and plenty of new material to share with the Larmer Tree audience, the Brit Awards winner will bring the festival to a close with true style, wowing us all again with stunning vocals as our Sunday headliner.
In a change to the programme, Tom Odell replaces Clean Bandit in the line-up, as the band are taking to the studio to spend the summer on their new music. Here’s a message from the band, “Hey Fandits. We were all really looking forward to this summer – getting back out on the road to a few special festival dates and playing some new music for you all. However, things aren’t quite ready yet with the new songs so we’re going to have to spend a bit longer in the studio. Unfortunately, this means we’re going to have to cancel a few dates we were due to play including Larmer Tree Festival, Untold and Arenal Sound. It’s a real shame to do this – we hate having to cancel shows and we are incredibly sorry about this – but we want to get our second album done as soon as possible to share with you all, which we’re really excited about doing!”
Tom joins headliners Jamie Cullum, Caro Emerald, The Stranglers and Calexico on the music line-up announced so far, with more music to come for the five-day weekend and elsewhere around the festival. Watch this space…
