With just a week to go until opening night, are you ready? If you’ve booked already, keep up that impressive level of organisation by packing ahead! To make things nice and easy, here’s a list of essentials to bring with you to the Gardens.
Tickets – don’t forget to download and print them now. If you haven’t already booked, you can get tickets here.
Parking passes or van passes – one for each vehicle you’re bringing. It’s cheaper to buy in advance and saves you time on the day!
Programme – if you pre-ordered a festival programme, it’ll be with you by Thursday, so don’t forget to pack it. They’ll be available onsite too.
Your bedroom – whether it’s a tent, caravan, or your Comfy Camping confirmation, make sure you’ve got something to sleep in and on!
Your friends and family – come on, they deserve it, don’t they?
Something special for Dress-Up Saturday – the theme is Fairy Tales and Fantasy, and if you really go all-out you could win a sparkly cape.
Camera – we love seeing your snaps. Share them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #LarmerTree16.
Suncream and sandals – it is mid-July, after all!
Wellies – if you’re staying overnight with us, the fresh early mornings can bring dew to the lawns. Be on the safe side and pack your wellies.
Running kit – our brand new Beyond The Gardens programme includes a jog with Festival Founder James where you can see how he came across the Gardens back at the very beginning of Larmer Tree Festival.
A bike – you can explore even further beyond the Gardens with Director Rob on his cycle ride! Just bring a bike (off-road tyres advised) and suitable clothes for the great outdoors.
Phone charger – if you’re keen to stay in touch with the outside world, you can use our charging facilities in exchange for a charity donation.
Torch – for late night rambles and finding your PJs after the party.
Medications – and anything else you need day-to-day.
Wash bag – complete with soap, toothbrush, and whatever else you’ll want to keep you feeling fresh.
Wet-wipes – always useful, although our hot showers are pretty great.
Toilet roll – because who wants to get caught out?
We can’t wait to see you in the Gardens for five fabulous days of music, comedy, theatre, literature, workshops, family fun and all-round entertainment!
