Christmas came early for Larmers, with the announcement of not one but TWO fabulous artists who’ll play live in the gardens on the opening night of the festival.
The most successful UK jazz singer ever having sold over 10 million albums worldwide, the multi-award winning Jamie Cullum will be singing live headlining the opening night of the festival on Wednesday 13th July!
We’re over the moon to announce that the one and only Jamie Cullum will be headlining the first night of Larmer Tree Festival 2016! The Grammy award winning singer-songwriter, with best known hits such as Wheels, These are the Days / Frontin’ and Get Your Way as well as ingenious covers, is sure to wow us with a live show none of us will ever forget…
“On stage, his energy and enthusiasm is simply irresistible.” Montreal Gazette
“Perhaps one day Cullum will have to choose between being a riveting and lovable pop entertainer, or a jazz singer. For now, his amazing talent allows him to have his cake and eat it.” The Telegraph
Jack Savoretti‘s a star on the rise, after a tough climb! With two sold out UK tours and sales of his recent album nearing 100,000, he’ll leave you spellbound as the support act on Wednesday 13th July.
The incredibly talented English/Italian acoustic singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti quit making music four years ago, but says as soon as he did he couldn’t stop writing, and in his words, “it was the best, most personal music I’d ever made”. Since then Jack’s worked with big names including Adele’s musical director, Sam Dixon, and Matt Benbrook, who collaborates with Paolo Nutini and Jake Bugg. He’s a man on the rise, and we can’t wait to hear his soulful lyrics float over the gardens.
“Savoretti’s lyrics are poetry put to music.” The Upcoming
“Soulfully draws you into his world” The Bristol Post
