We’re over the moon to welcome The Chase to Larmer Tree Festival!
Discover the home of the hottest, freshest music discoveries who should all be on your radar. New for 2016, The Chase champions the finest emerging talent and promises to be the place to see the next big thing in music.
Carefully curated by the newest festival team members, Todd Wills and Matt Aitken, programmers behind Bristol’s home of music, Colston Hall, expect an exciting and eclectic programme of skronk jazz, space folk and twisted pop!
Todd Wills tells us a little more, “It’s great to be part of the Larmer Tree Festival team this year! The challenge was to bring something a bit different to the festival and identify some of those incredible emerging artists that we’ll see on bigger stages in years to come, giving Larmer Tree Festival go-ers an exclusive chance to see acts in an intimate setting before they hit the big time. Hopefully everyone will all enjoy watching the eclectic programme of artists at The Chase as much as we enjoyed putting it together.”
Joining acts already announced, including Quantic, Sidestepper, Melt Yourself Down, Slow Club, the final acts announced for The Chase are Pete Josef, Kanda Bonga Man, Snack Family, Flight Brigade, Jalen N’Gonda. These six artists cover every genre imaginable, from Pete Josef’s rich and warm soundscapes to Flight Brigade’s rocky tracks reminiscent of early Arcade Fire, through to Snack Family, who NME Magazine called a ‘creeping Rock n Roll monster’.
