Coming to you straight from the Gardens, here’s the Larmer Tree low-down! The festival has been wall-to-wall fun so far, and it’s only going to get better as the weekend approaches.
Dancing shoes have seen a lot of action in the past two days – Jamie Cullum and Caro Emerald were absolutely brilliant and we can’t get their songs out of our heads! Jack Savoretti was another popular favourite, and the atmosphere has been incredible, with anticipation still building ahead of our weekend headliners The Stranglers, Calexico and Tom Odell.
Late night comedy in the ARC is another highlight. The Boy with Tape on His Face was fantastic and truly original. Everyone’s getting set to howl with laughter at Mark Steel‘s show tonight, and there’s a side-splitting weekend comedy line-up ahead, including Edinburgh Previews.
Plenty of festival-goers have been getting into the party spirit and dancing through the night, but there have been blissfully calm moments too. From fascinating talks and workshops to relaxing therapies and stunning art installations, there’s a lot to soak in, all whilst enjoying that famously friendly Larmer Tree vibe!
Tickets are still available online until 4pm the day before they’re valid (so you can buy Saturday tickets until 4pm today) and if you’re too late to book ahead, you can get tickets on the day on the gate. See you soon!
