NEW: Top tips for opening your e-tickets

We’ve updated our ticketing system, so it works a little differently from last year. If you’re having any difficulty opening your e-tickets, please try these steps before contacting us.

  • Copy and paste the link into your browser
  • Check your downloads folder – your e-tickets may have downloaded straight onto your computer without opening
  • Make sure you have a PDF reader installed. If not you can download Adobe for free from
  • Check your security settings – your browser or email service might be blocking the hyperlink. Make sure we’re added as a ‘safe sender’ or equivalent
  • Close and re-open your email service, and try all of the above again!

If none of the these tips help, please drop us an email and we’ll get our ticketing friends on the case! You’ll need to state your name and order number, and let us know what you’ve tried.

Which tickets for 2016 can I choose from?

Multi-day (7-day holiday, 5, 4 and 3-day) tickets and Wednesday tickets are on sale now. Other day tickets will go on sale when each day’s headliner is announced.

Does my child need a ticket?

Yes, children (aged 5-10) and under 5s go free but you’ll need to book a ticket for them. You’ll need to buy a youth ticket for those aged 11-17. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Please purchase child/youth and adult tickets together as we can’t allow online sales of child or youth tickets only. These tickets are limited to a maximum of three per adult. Contact the festival office if you need to buy more.

Do I need to buy a parking pass with my tickets?

Yes, you’ll need to buy a car or van parking pass specific to your arrival day, choosing either a day pass or a multiple-day pass to cover the length of your stay. A day parking pass is valid for the same duration as a day ticket (ie from opening time on your arrival day to 11am the next morning) and will cover you for an overnight stay. If you need extra parking passes then you can order these separately online.

What are the tiers all about?

To reward our loyal Larmer Tree festival goers who buy extra early (before we’ve even announced the line-up!) we’ve introduced a tiered system. Tier one tickets are available at an extra-special price, and once these have sold out, we’ll move to tier two, tier three and finally four.

Can I spread the cost of buying my ticket?

Yes. Up until the end of March 2016, subject to availability. Find out more about buying your tickets and paying for them in manageable chunks spread across the year here.

Are there booking fees?

A 3.5% booking fee applies per ticket for online bookings (7% for bookings made over the phone). This includes the cost of the booking service, merchant services and credit and debit card commissions.

If I can’t buy online, is there another way to get my tickets?

Call our telephone box office, managed by our friends at Leicester Square Theatre on 01722 581000. Phone lines are open 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Please note there’s a 7% booking fee for bookings made over the phone.

When will I receive my tickets?

You should receive a confirmation email almost immediately with details of your booking as proof of purchase, which must be kept safe. You’ll then receive an email in spring with a link to download and print your e-tickets and passes for entry to the festival.

How do e-tickets work?

No more lost tickets or leaving them at home, plus it’s kinder to the environment too! All tickets and passes will be e-mailed to you to print-at-home, so no postage costs apply. You’ll receive an email in the spring with a link to download your tickets and passes.

I can’t find or haven’t received my tickets – what should I do?

Both emails (confirmation and tickets) will come from Larmer Tree Festival. If either email doesn’t arrive, first please check your junk mail folder before emailing us at

I can’t use the tickets I’ve bought, can I request a refund?

I’m afraid we can’t refund or resell tickets that can no longer be used.

Can I buy or sell tickets through a third party?

We strongly advise you to always book tickets directly through us. If you can no longer make it to the festival, we’d suggest that you sell your spare tickets onto family or friends. They’ll need the e-ticket or a printed copy – and make sure you give them the spare ticket and not one you still need, as tickets will be scanned on arrival and can only be used once.

Will you be operating the same system for carer’s tickets this year?

Find out more here about booking tickets for personal assistants (carers) or arranging space in our accessible camping and parking areas.

When will I receive my pre-ordered programme?

Those who pre-bought one of our lovely programmes can expect them to arrive by post the week before the festival (week commencing 4th July), so you can start your planning!
