Local boy Roo Panes, released his debut album ‘Little Giant’ to critical acclaim in 2014, racking up an excess of 140 million plays on Spotify and over 8 million YouTube views. An indie-folk singer-songwriter from Dorset, Andrew Panes gained his unusual nickname, a character in Winnie The Pooh, after falling into a river as a child. Panes came to the spotlight when he starred in and wrote music for a Burberry campaign in 2012, however he stresses that he “went in a musician, and came out a musician”. Pane’s sophomore album Paperweights, released in 2016, is a sound matured. Richer, but no less authentic.
