There aren’t many reasons to leave the beautiful Larmer Tree Festival site, but this might just persuade you to pay a brief visit to the outside world! Myncen farm has been family-run for three generations and is renowned for producing Cranborne Chase Cider, and now they’re opening their gates (a short drive from the festival) for a limited number of our holidaymakers to look around.

Unearth how they’ve diversified their arable farm with a focus on conservation, wildlife and renewable energy. You’ll learn about crop-rotation, go on a tractor-trailer tour, and discover how the cider press works – and sample the finished product of course! Tuck into a freshly baked jacket potato for lunch (£5 each) and meet local producers Orchard Bay Bakery and Chalke Valley Cheese, with the opportunity to purchase bread, cheese and cider for festival picnics.

Places are limited, so sign up from 11am on Monday at the Info point in Camp Rushmore. Myncen Farm is a short drive from the festival site.
